Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning and estimation, analysis, design, development and unit testing, in the Agile SCRUM team for the Roku client project, of a leading internet TV streaming service company on Roku which is used by hundreds of thousands of customers.
  • Support web services for the server application which enables numerous features and capabilities to the Mobile Clients for iOS & Android devices used by millions of customers.
  • Help client analyze code and perform refactoring and memory optimizations.
  • Help client perform design and code review for delivering quality project deliverables on time.
  • Ensure application follows company's Security Policy and Requirements.
  • Perform software development activities related to continuous integration, source control and versioning, branching, builds and packaging the application.
  • Provide installation scripts, instructions, MOPS, M&Ps and other training documents for the project.
  • Assist to identify risks and issues and manage the mitigation of these items by taking ownership of issues and coordinate with various teams/departments to resolve/release/document these issues.
  • Coordinate with the Test, Tier3 and TAC teams to ensure smooth deployment in production.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or Management Information Systems with 1 or 2 years of experience in programming and software applications with above business domain experience.
  • Must have demonstrated skills in object-oriented analysis and design, development in BrightScript, SceneGraph, C#.Net, SQL, Oracle, LINQ, ASP.Net, VB.Net, WPF, WCF, Java, JSP, Servlets, Javascript, HTML, CSS, MS SQL Server, Build Servers, Agile-SCRUM.
